SNOW NOTES: On the 20th, a period of sleet occurred during the morning, at observation time. It melted and precipitation turned to all rain a little later in the morning. A trace of snow fell on the night of the 21st and early morning of the 22nd.

NOTE: This information is not official until it has been certified by the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, NC (which usually takes about 5 months following the end of each set of monthly observations).

Temperature is given in degrees Fahrenheit and Precipitation is in inches.

Temperature and Precipitation are valid for the 24-hr period ending at observation time(approx. 8:00 am Local Time each morning). Thus, if the temperature follows the normal diurnal cycle, of rising to a maximum during the afternoon and falling to a minimum around sunrise, the maximum temperature provided in this table actually occurred on the day prior to the date of the observation.
